Welcome to Cub Run Elementary School's PTA!
We are Cub Run Elementary School's Parent Teacher Association (PTA), parents and teachers working together to support the CRES community. Our mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by helping families and our community to advocate for and support all of our children. Our hope is that each child's elementary years are filled with learning, growing, safety, wonder, and fun!
Check back with us weekly as we will be keeping this amazing resource up to date!
We love this question, and the answer is A LOT!
When the PTA's budget is met, we are able to work together as a collaborative team of teachers, parents and administrators to deliver the educational value our 700+ children deserve
*Art and Literacy: Helping sponsor events such as Literacy Night (Fall 2022) and Art Night (Spring 2023)
*Field Day 2023: Funding Field Day expenses
*Field Trips: Exposing students to history, science, and the arts through funding for school field trips
*Fun Run! building fitness and community through our yearly FUN RUN!
*Grade Level Grants: helping teachers with supplies for classrooms such as books, musical instruments and technology
*Playground: Building and maintaining all playground structures
*School Family Activities: Family Fun Nights, Spirit Nights, Health Fair, and MORE!
*Teacher Appreciation: Helping celebrate our teachers, admin and staff throughout the year
*We have some NEW events planned for 2023... but you'll have to keep watching to join in the fun :)
So Glad You Asked!
*Playground: CRES has outgrown 1 playground structure. Donations will help build a second structure for our kids!
*Grade Level Grant Funds: $20,000 DONATION GOAL for 2022-2023. These grants make funds available to teachers to enhance the educational experiences of our students.
*Members: Small group members. Our goal is for parents to choose ONE THING in our small groups to commit to. We all have busy lives, but if each of us helps with only ONE THING, events, funding, and fun times can happen for the whole CRES community!
